Privacy

Short version: this site runs privacy-friendly analytics that cannot identify you, and it stores nothing about you unless you fill in the contact form or email me.

What this site collects

houstondragna.com uses Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track people across sites or sessions. It records aggregate counts only:

• Which pages were viewed, and how many times
• The referring site or campaign tag, where one exists
• Country, browser, operating system, and device type, all at a coarse level

No cookies are set for analytics, no personal profile is built, and no data is sold or shared with advertisers. Because there is no tracking cookie, there is no consent banner to click.

The contact form

If you send the form, the name, email address, project type, and message you type are delivered to me through Netlify Forms and stored in that account so I can reply. That is the whole purpose. It is not added to a mailing list, and I do not send marketing email.

Emailing me directly does the same thing by a different route: your message sits in my inbox until you ask me to delete it.

What this site does not do

• No advertising trackers, pixels, or third-party marketing scripts
• No cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or session recording
• No accounts, no logins, no passwords stored
• No payment processing, so no card details ever touch this site

Where it is hosted

The site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request needed to deliver the font files. Images and video thumbnails may be requested from GitHub and YouTube when you view those pages.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and I will do it. There is not much to hold: for most visitors the honest answer is nothing at all.

Browser do-not-track and ad blockers are respected by default here, since there is nothing to opt out of beyond aggregate counts.

All photography, film, design, and writing on this site is my own work or work I contributed to as credited, and remains the property of its respective owners. Client work appears with permission for portfolio purposes. Please do not reuse it without asking.
